What is “Local Forest”?

The definition of “local forest” derives from the phrase “forest ecosystem” to make it easier to understand and more area specific which different areas could have the same or different local forests according to its topographic and climate characteristics, rainfall, elevation and other factors. The name to identify a local forest is called by its forest type, for example, Dry Dipterocarp Foreste (DDF), Mixed Deciduous Forest, Dry Evergreen Forest, Evergreen Forest, Hill Evergreen Forest, Mangrove Forest, Peat Swamp Forest.
